Right from Grade 00 we help to raise money for others that aren’t as privileged as ourselves.
Each year we take part in the Children 4 Children campaign. We collect food items to give to underprivileged children. Last year we brought in over 500kg of rice.
Each house has a turn to hold a yummy cake sale and the money raised buys food parcels for the aids orphans.
One of the many fun days we have at school is Children’s Day. On this day, our brothers from Selborne Primary and our big sisters from Clarendon Primary join us for a whole day of fun, games and treats and this raises money for Child Welfare.
Every Wednesday, we make and bring an extra sandwich called a ‘Love Sandwich’ to school. These sandwiches are collected and handed out to the children who aren’t as fortunate as us to have a healthy packed lunch every day.
We have learnt that it only takes something small to make a difference and we want everyone to know that Clarendon CARES!
